ail training ship La Grace is an authentic replica of a brig from the second half of the 18th century. Her construction follows the plans printed in 1768 in the book Architectura navalis mercatoria, which was published by Swedish

admiral Fredrik Henrik af Chapman. He was probably the greatest ship constructor of all times, who laid the foundations of modern ship construction according to exact plans. Long before Ford he introduced flow production of ships from prefabricated parts. Consequently he reduced the time of their construction ten times. Many ships, men-of-war or merchantmen, were constructed according to his plans, including English royal yacht called Royal Caroline. All constructions of replicas of historical sailing ships stem from his plans.

lthough La Grace is designed in the way that even captain Nelson should not notice any historical inaccuracies at first sight, inside she will be equipped with all modern electronics, safety systems and facilities, which enable her safe sailing and the crew spending pleasant moments of relaxation and training.
